Introduction

I served with the Army in Vietnam from July 1968 through June 1969, plus some travel days on each end.  I was a Lieutenant Colonel assigned as Staff Judge Advocate of the 4th Infantry Division at Camp Enari, a few miles south of Pleiku City in the Central Highlands.  size="2"> several page summary of my memories of my tour in Vietnam is included HERE. That includes a brief summary of trips that I took from Vietnam to Hawaii, Hong Kong, and Thailand. These will also be listed separately in thr Index of Journals.

I was not there as a tourist, and carrying a bulky 35 mm camera was neither appropriate nor practical most of the time.  Nevertheless, I did manage to take more than 100 color slides.  Unfortunately, after so many years, they have deteriorated greatly. Photoshop was only partially successful in restoring them.
